Hello Students :-)

We will cover 12 units from the textbook, discussing icons such as Martin Luther King Jr., Spielberg, and Mandela, plus topics on love, forgiveness, beauty, happiness, as well as global issues, like the environment, cloning, and stereotypes.

Part of the curriculum for this course, is to build a blog similar to this one. Using the blogs, students will answer questions from the units in class and comment on answers of other students. To receive full marks in this area, you must answer the questions in A+ Answer format on your blog and comment at least 5 times on the blogs of your fellow students.

Have FUN blogging!

If the Dalai Lama can do it..why can't you?

The Dalai Lama recently visited Japan and encourages English language learners to have the courage to speak English as much as possible without worrying about imperfection or making mistakes.

He describes his English as 'broken' but it doesn't stop him from using it as a means of universal communication.

Have the courage to contribute in English... starting in the classroom, cyberspace, and beyond.
